Aerosol Photometers
An instrument that measures mass concentrations of aerosol by using
the forward light scattering principle. At a minimum, the instrument
is capable of measuring aerosol concentrations of up to 100 mg/m3,
and it has a threshold sensitivity capable of measuring 1µg
/ m3. Most Photometers with advanced electronics have threshold
sensitivity levels of at least 0.1 µg / m3. Thus
these instruments can test filteration systems by using reduced concentration
of challenge aerosol |
